The specially engineered bi-laminate top is lightly braced and has a rich, resonant, surprisingly loud acoustic sound, because the tappable humbucking pickups are mounted to precision milled pylons in the body, allowing the top to vibrate freely. Though great sounding out of the box, standard sized humbuckers allow easy modification for players having specific favorite pickup preferences. Push-pull pots for switching between electric & acoustic sounds & splitting the humbuckers provides a wide range of tones and ease of use. Retracting controls for the acoustic section are easy to use and provide plenty of adjustment for any situation, and uses “button style” batteries for ease of replacement, storage, & light weight. Additionally, since the electric guitar section is passive and independent, you can switch into it on the fly and keep playing if your batteries wear out onstage!
